The government clashes with the Arab residence of Sheiban resulted in more than eight injuries and dozens of detainees
The government of Iran on Friday morning (06.09.13) took action to seize more than 35 hectares of farmland stretching from the city of Sheiban to the district of Seied Enayeh .The government authorities also destroyed all homes and businesses in the area which were built more than 3 years ago.
The actions were spread to other locations on Saturday by the Iranians security and Intelligence authorities along with the assistance of the Ahwaz Municipality for the use of heavy machinery in the destruction of homes and businesses. The government authorities faced serious resistance by the local land owners and the family members of Mr.Seied Jasem Al Zoheiri.
The Iranian authorities claimed that the mentioned lands are the property of Ms.Mareashi a citizens of Tehran, but Mr.Seied Jasem Al Zoheiri family members refused to accept such false claim and stated that their ancestors are the original owners of the lands and it has been their main source of income for centuries.
The government authorities’ insistence to demolish the homes and businesses only resulted in the serious clash between the Arab landowners and the government authorities. The clashes consequently resulted in the injuries of more than 8 family members of Mr.Jasem Al Zoheiri’s , whom were later transferred under tight security to the Ahwaz hospitals for treatment and future trial for their actions in defense of their lands.

Mr. Hussein Boyan the deputy director of civil at Ahwaz Municipality on September 6th, 2013 revealed that the Municipality of Ahwaz has only been able to pay the monthly salary of its personal by the illegal sale of confiscated lands with the use of false ownership documents.
The AlAhwazi Human rights organization totally condemns such criminal actions by the Iranian government with the main purpose of ethnic cleansing of AlAhwazi citizens from their homeland.
