The Islamic revolutionary court of Iran has sentenced Mr.Ghazi Heidari to a new 5 years prison term.

He was previously sentenced to a 10 years prison term by the Islamic revolutionary court in 2009 for his Arab cultural activities which are considered to be a crime by the Islamic government of Iran.

The sentence was after the secret execution of 4 AL Ahwaz Arab citizens on January 2012, who three of them were brothers with the crime of Mohareb (enemies of God and the Prophet Mohammad) and a threat to the national security of Iran.

The Arab media and the human rights organizations recently revealed a video film that all 4 persons have denied all the confessions shown on Press T.V. of Iran. They also have claimed the forced confessions were taken while being under serious physical and mental torture by the Iranian government.   

The repeated sentence for Mr.Ghazi Heidari was approved after the showing of mentioned video by the Arab media, and he is accused of revealing the film to outside of prison and in result has been transferred out of Karoon’s prison ward # 8 and seriously tortured.

Mr. Ghazi Heidari born on 1975 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics engineering was a residence of AlThoreth district.

The Al Ahwazi human rights organization condemns the prison sentence of Mr.Ghazi Heidari and all other Arab prisoners , we request the international community and the human rights organizations to pressure the government of Iran in order to stop such oppression and injustice actions taken against the innocent citizens of Al Ahwaz.
