The expulsion and exile of three Ahwazi prisoners to prisons outside Ahwaz after the execution of two of their comrades in prison ...
The Iranian security forces announced that they had carried out the operation to expel and exile three Ahwazi prisoners without stating the reasons.
The three Ahwazi prisoners are:
- Hassan Bait Abdullah - 34 years old, and lives in the village of Drchal (Drtshal) - He was arrested in October 2015.
Hassan along with 14 other Ahwazi citizens were arrested in the suburbs of city of Souss.
They were tried in the Revolutionary Court in a undisclosed trial without allowing them to appoint a lawyer to defend them.
The detainees were sentenced 30 years in prison for threatening Iranian national security and transferred from the Souss prison to the Suleiman Mosque prison after months of physical and psychological torture. He was then exiled and transferred to Ardabil city prison.
In early 2019, Hassan participated in strike inside the prison, against the Iranian authorities' mistreatment of prisoners.
The second exiled prisoner is Ahmad Kaab, who is 30 years old, and a resident of Shawur area in city of Souss, who was also sentenced to 30 years in prison in Revolutionary Court trial (one of the Iranian Revolutionary Guards ’institutions) for inciting Iranian national security.
His trial held secretly and without being allowed to appoint a lawyer.
He was recently exiled to Prison in Azerbaijan City .
-The third prisoner is Majed Al-Kaabi, a resident of Souss city who was exiled to prison in Yazd city.
It is reported that the Iranian authorities executed two of their comrades in August 2019, and they are:
Abdullah Karam Allah Kaab from the city Souss.
Qasim Abdullah Kaabi, a resident of the city of Shawur.
